On Friday, September 14, 2001, the District Deputy Grand Masters of Virginia held their annual retreat and meeting in Blackstone, Virginia, conducted by Ill. Clifford A. Parker, 33°, Deputy Grand Master. Before starting their sessions, they assembled at 7:00 pm and lit candles in solidarity with all other Americans in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist acts in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania.
