Donations for Tsunami Relief

The world has been greatly moved by the mass destruction and human tragedy created by the recent tsunami which devastated so many parts of Southeast Asia. Some Brethren have already sent in checks to the Supreme Council, 33°, for relief of the tsunami’s victims, so many of them children. Informed contacts have suggested it would be best for the Supreme Council to hold this money for after the initial surge of worldwide assistance. Then the Scottish Rite will be able to direct these funds, per the advice of our Deputies and other Freemasons in the Far East, to support appropriate projects. For example, helping children orphaned by this natural disaster will be a long-term challenge. Thus, checks for Tsunami Relief should be made payable to The Scottish Rite Foundation, S.J., U.S.A., and specified for Tsunami Relief. Please mail to: Scottish Rite Foundation, 1733 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20009-3103.

Thank you for your generous support of this most worthy cause.
